Installing Vinyl Window Casing

Double check these retrofit window installation measurements to ensure their accuracy so you don t end up with a window that doesn t fit.

In most cases the old frame dimensions will match a standard size vinyl window. Installing the trim slightly away from the jamb edges will help hide discrepancies. Cut bottom end of casing with aviation snips then install the casing against the window. Then add 3 1 2 inches to allow for the 45 degree angle.
